I think Joel caught this habit of putting his finger on his lips and going 'Ssh!' from my mom.
Last Saturday at Udupi, Ajit was trying to get Joel to respond to him. The TV was on and some Hindi movie was going on. I'm not sure what was on Joel's mind. He turned to his uncle and said, "Ssh! Quiet. Watch TV" (translated from Konkani).
Julie, Amrith and I had a good laugh.
Joel has picked up a few good eating habits from Keziah. I'm glad.
Uploading snaps of their brief time together on to flickr now.

Joel and Keziah
Keziah's down in town for about a week. She reached on Sunday morning along with her parents. Joel woke up to her wishing him 'Good morning'. And the next thing is she's on the bed with a nicely wrapped gift box. Man! I wish I could have laid my hands on it.
These two though didn't waste time in removing the shiny red gift wrapper with the piece of decoration (Keziah advised Joel on that little piece to use it as a Christmas tree decoration). Inside the box was a set of clothes for Joel.
It was fun to watch Joel hold the shirt against himself and say 'Nice! Nice!'.
From then on, I wouldn't say the two were inseparable. But they did get along fairly well. Keziah didn't seem like the spoilt brat she was last December. She has grown up quite a bit in the last 6 months. I'm glad that she liked the sports top and skirt that Amrith and I bought for her.
Sharing toys is something which Joel hasn't learnt yet. He preferred keeping a set to himself. Keziah though was very sweet about the things she bought. A request asking her to keep things out of Joel's sight was sufficient to get a smiling co-conspirator look on her face.
Wanted to give her and Joel a good time at Bharat Mall and Empire Mall yesterday. But that was not to be. I hope that we can do it on Friday at least.
