Joel's been doing great. I in the meantime lost my yahoo id (seqv) forever. Created a new one in yahoo again.. in fact 2 new ids and one of them (seqv4u) hold photographs of him in plenty.
Another tooth is popping up on his lower jaw. I think his molars are also cutting through. He's grown an inch and half tall since last month.
He now knows me as mamma, momee-momee and all those other mom names that my parents have taught him. It's surprising that he's adapted to the names without any probs. I thot i was going to be 'dhudee' forever. This development took place in a span of a week about 3 weeks ago.
Ask him where's Veena or momee and he points to me with a cute li'l smile and a cooing sound. Love it when he does that.
Ah! the other side is that now he knows i have another name. So of late (read that since a week) he's been calling me 'eenaa'. He's also been calling Aba as Daddy when he hears sis or me calling out to Dad.
He gave mom and dad a scare last Monday. He got into this mode of twisting, turning, yelling and crying and they weren't able to figure out what was wrong with him. He on the other hand was not letting them come close to him. Finally they managed to hold him and dad had this brainwave of taking him for a drive. He drove down towards the river and stopped there for a while. That didn't work and so took him past the church towards my old school. Somewhere on the way he calmed down and fell asleep. After the sleep, he was back to normal. But that was one heck of day for both of them.
The next day he'd pee'd in Ibby nana's room. She was dressing up to go to church. Unfortunately she didn't notice what he'd done and so the next step she took had her foot land up in the puddle and it was a slip, whoosh and wham. Thank God no broken bones or head. Her head had banged against the bed. She's fine, in one piece and a lot more careful. Poor li'l guy was in the room when it happened and he got scared. He likes her a lot and couldn't stand to see her down suddenly. I hate to think of what going to happen if the two ever get separated.
